Nyack Weekender: All That Jazz Week

It’s Nyack Jazz Week, the annual event that features seven nights of New York and world-renowned artists indoors and under the stars. Jazz Week is just part of what you can do in and near Nyack this weekend, brought to you by The Arts Council of Rockland.

That was the week that was. On Tuesday 7/19, a construction crane for the New NY Bridge collapsed blocking traffic on the Tappan Zee Bridge for eight hours — causing several hundred thousand drivers delays through out the rest of the week. We can’t fix the bridge, but we can help your Hudson-crossing intel. To get a real-time sneak-peek at Tappan Zee Bridge traffic, we’ve created a page which shows the five NYS Thruway traffic cams that are pointed at the TZB. Visit NyackNewsAndViews.com/tzbwebcams to “know before you go!”
