It’s hard to co-exists sometimes, and letting dogs run free in an urbanized area is always a tough issue.

I fail to see any correlation between the issue of dog manure in the park and whether or not the dog happens to be on a leash , or not. In my experience the same dog owner who is not inclined to clean up after their dog with it off leash is any more inclined to clean up with it on a leash.
It has also been my experience when in the park with my own dog that the early morning group of dog owners are by far the mot conscientious and respectful group imaginable when it comes to cleaning up after their pets.
Its typical of this Village though to do business this way. Miss a meeting and they’ll sell your desk. Another example of the Mayor simply acquiescing to the loudest (or in this case only) voice in the room.
Its sad that these joyous early morning romps will be a thing of the past.
Poor Dogs
