You can fish for free this weekend in New York State.
Anglers can fish license-free on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28. It’s an annual event every year on the last weekend in June. First-time fisherman or a seasoned veterans can take advantage of the many fishing spots throughout New York state. “Better yet,” says Clarktown Clerk David Carlucci, “why not test your fishing skills out at the picturesque fishing spots right here in Clarkston?”
