The TZx, Clarkstown Mini-Trans and Spring Valley Jitney buses take a holiday on July 4th. But Transit of Rockland (TOR) buses will be in service with a Sunday schedule (Loop #1 and Loop #2 will operate a Saturday schedule). Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches (Red & Tan Lines) buses will operate a Sunday schedule.
Here’s the rundown for each service for July 2nd and 3rd:
- TOR and TZx run regular weekday schedules day.
- Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches (Red & Tan Lines) express bus routes will offer earlier rush hour service from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Express Routes #45, #47 and #49 will all begin service between 2:00 and 2:30 PM on 7/2. On July 3rd, Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches buses will operate Sunday schedules.
- The Coach USA Express (Exit 14) buses will operate early rush hour service from Manhattan on 7/2. Call (800) 631-8405 or go to www.shortlinebus.com for details. Service is suspended on 7/3.
- On July 2, Metro-North’s Hudson Line will cancel a train scheduled to depart Grand Central at 6:22 PM, but TZx buses at Tarrytown will meet a train scheduled to depart at 6:25 PM.
