New (Old World) Food Market Coming to Rt 59

The former Nissan car dealership on Route 59 will soon have a tasty new tenant. Offering cheeses, fresh fish, homemade sausage and sushi as well as basic shopping staples, the Old World Food Market will also include cafe seating in the the 15,000 square foot space. Owner Andrew Poma Jr., who runs a gourmet shop near Wall Street, hopes to open by late August.

    I’m not impressed. I bought tomatoes that had been frozen, clementines that are really sour, and expensive steak that was very grizzly. When I returned the $5.00 worth of tomatoes, the clerk didn’t say one single word to me. I will not go back.
