In its third straight year, The National Night Out-America’s Night Out Against Crime is a family friendly event hosted by the The Orangetown Police and the New York National Guard Counter Drug Task Force. Come out to see police, fire and EMS displays at Orangetown’s Veteran’s Memorial Park on Tuesday from 3p-10p.

Great night to skate around at the park. I was amazed at the number of people skating/riding around the park all at the same time from all age ranges… little kids all the way up to some adults!
I think that it is about time for Orangetown to look into providing a public skatepark for all the people interested in this activity that have nowhere to go. A turnout of over 50 people for a one-night event definitely shows a demand!
