Sunday: Find Holiday Gifts at RoCA’s Affordable Art & Pottery Bazaar

img_0648What do you get the person who has everything? Nothing. . . No, art!
Head over to RoCA this Sunday, Dec. 11th, for the Affordable Art & Pottery Bazaar.  Rockland Center for the Arts is holding its own smaller scale Affordable Art & Pottery Sale, just in time for Holiday gift giving.  What better place to experience this!  RoCA has many professional artists, teachers and collectors who donate art to the center.  These professionals understand the importance of art in our lives, through creating, collecting and appreciating.
Items include:  Functional pottery, smaller original 2-D &  3-D art from known artists; ceramics; cultural objects such as masks; jewelry;  and a collection of ceramics from the estate of Rosemary Aiello, a beloved RoCA teacher.
So don’t travel to the city, come to RoCA and find a piece of unique art or pottery for a fabulous Christmas gift, your home, or for your collection.  This holiday give them something that will last and increase in value with time.
RoCA is making room for our new phase of development and is including some pieces in the sale from the vaults of their permanent collection.  RoCA is moving forward with enthusiastic endeavors to improve, expand and serve the community.
Join us for this very special event/fundraiser at Rockland Center for the Arts, 27 South Greenbush Rd, West Nyack, NY. Dec. 11 – Dec. 22, open free to the public from 11 am – 4 pm.
This program is made possible, in part, with funds from the “New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.”
