Orangetown considers a JP Morgan Chase proposal to build a data center at the former Rockland Psych Center. Nyack has a special meeting Wed about sludge in the marina. Clarkstown releases its first cut of a “ward system” for voting. And Rockland became the first county in New York State to ban tobacco sales in pharmacies. The bill was signed into law on Feb 3 by Rockland County Executive Ed Day at Tappan Zee High School. TZ HS students were instrumental in lobbying for this initiative.
