Background
NyackNewsAndViews was founded by Nyack residents and Dave Zornow and Doug Foster to provide information not available through other sources. Readers are encouraged to ‘€œjoin‘€ community conversations, and postings are moderated to maintain civil discussion. Doug Foster, now a Nyack Village Trustee, gave up editorial control of NyackNewsAndViews when he ran for office in 2009.
Bill Batson joined NyackNewsAndViews as author of the weekly NyackSketchLog feature in 2011. He does double duty as our head of ad sales.
What interests our readers the most? Google Analytics tells us some of the most read topics are articles about local politics, local retail issues, the new Tappan Zee Bridge, Riverspace/Superblock, parades and street fairs and parking. Other popular articles were about schools, dogs, nighttime entertainment and Nyack’s rich history.
