I have been honored to serve Nyack as a Trustee for the last year and a half and are proud of our accomplishments during that time which include restructuring the village’s long-term debt, reducing taxes, hiring a Village Administrator, Superblock planning and formation of the Downtown Marketing Committee. With that in mind, I will be running for re-election to the Village Board this Fall.
Nyack, Jan 16 — Gracie’s Ravioli, Nyack’s much beloved local Italian market, closed its doors yesterday.
Nyack visitors, shoppers and diners can park free in two downtown lots beginning on Friday, November 26 through Monday January 3, 2010.
The two lots are within convenient walking distance from Nyack’s Main Street and Broadway businesses.
Those residents who get their trash picked up on Thursday shouldn’t put it out this week, which is Thanksgiving day. The Village will pick up trash on the following Monday.

Maybe there was some pretty good soccer happening yesterday afternoon in South Africa, but there was some amazing basketball being played in Nyack’s Memorial Park.
The Nyack Water Department will flush water mains in West and central Nyack on Monday-Thursday May 3- 6, 2010. Flushing hours will be between 9p and 6a. During the flush, residents in these areas may have reduced water pressure and see water that is temporarily discolored.
