An Evening in Tibet, an event to benefit the Tibetan Home of Hope, will be held on Sun Feb 12 at the Nyack Center at 7:30p. Nyack resident Jim Fyfe is the master of ceremonies for an evening of authentic Tibetan food, live Tibetan music and a charity silent auction.
The featured musical guest for the evening is Nhuche Dhangol. General admission tickets are $40 — VIP tickets including a champagne reception are $100. Tickets can be purchased online or in Nyack at Sign of the Times and Maria Luisa Boutique.
Proceeds will benefit the Tibetan Home of Hope, a nonsectarian home and school for children where young people receive loving care, education, food, shelter, medical attention and the practical foundation needed to develop into independent adults with a full appreciation of their Tibetan heritage.
