Nyack, Aug 30 7a — Several hundred Nyack households are still off the grid as Orange & Rockland crews work around the clock to reconnect customers knocked offline by late Sunday post-Irene winds. O&R crews are making rapid progress and are beating some of their own estimates for getting reconnecting Nyack residents.
Orange and Rockland Utilities will be distributing ice to customers without power today (8/30/2011) from 6-8p at Clarkstown Town Hall (back lower lot), 10 Maple Avenue, New City
