Cyclist’s Death Revives Forgotten PIPC Bike Plan
The death of a 53 year old Mount Ivy resident on a dangerous stretch of Route 9W two weeks ago has stirred the cycling community to raise awareness of car and cyclist safety issues. Its also revived an abandoned but innovative plan by the Palisades Park Commission which has benefits for bikers, businesses and drivers, too.
