Nyack, July 14, 2013 — Sure it might be hot, but it will still be cool from 10a-5p today at Nyack’s Famous Street Fair. Weather Underground predicts only a 1 in 5 chance of rain. Bring the family but keep Fido at home: dogs are not allowed at Nyack’s Street Fairs.
Nyack, May 18 — If you add up all of the weekend numbers, Nyack should set another 35,000 or so seats at the table this weekend with a Saturday afternoon parade, a Sunday world class bike event and the second Street Fair of 2013.

The streets will be alive with the sound of music on Sunday April 14 at the 27th annual SpringFest Street Fair from 10a – 5p rain or shine. In addition to 200 vendors, the Nyack Chamber of Commerce has collaborated with two local music schools to serenade you while you stroll and shop.

There are three things which Nyack has in abundance: artists, bikers and dogs. But on Street Fair Sundays two out of three aren’t welcome.
“To the vendors and businesses at the Nyack Street Fair, we would have spent more of our money with you, but a police officer told us we had to leave with our two Greyhounds. There were no dogs allowed at the Festival held on a PUBLIC STREET!” writes commenter GreyhoundMom.
